THE LIBRARY IS THE HEART OF OUR UNIVERSITY
Suleyman Demirel University has a wide ranged library prepared for all demands of the students, teaching staff. It provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Besides its fine location in the main building and its high degree of open access and easy use, the Library's reputation is based mainly on the excellence of its stock, which is remarkable? Both for content and range. Housed in a series of language reading rooms and stack areas, so that a large proportion of the stock is on open access to graduate students, the Library caters particularly for English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and general linguistics and comparative philological studies, sides literary texts, often in numerous editions, good provision is made of critical studies, reference books, bibliographies, dictionaries encyclopedias, linguistic atlases, and memoirs. Library is strong on novels, plays, and other texts from the 17th century on.
The periodicals stock, virtually all on open access, contains holdings of original literary journals from the eighteenth century onwards and, with numerous current subscriptions, the Library takes both critical journals and creative magazines right across its fields of interest. Specialist members of staff are on hand to assist readers.
The Library's catalogue is available online as the University's union catalogue. Reading hall can have up to 200 students. It has 35,000 books and it
