During the meeting the guests were introduced to the new campus and were highly impressed.

Also, The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Suleyman Demirel University and Kastamonu University and The Rectorate of Nigde University, Turkey. The universities agree to develop the following collaborative activities in the academic areas of mutual interest, on the basis of equality and reciprocity:

· Encouraging academic exchange and cooperation between the universities.

· Joint research activities in areas of mutual interest.

· Inviting faculty members, research scholars and/or students for academic visit and exchange.

· Exchange of publication and other teaching materials.

· Co-sponsoring seminars, courses, workshops and other academic meetings on matters of mutual benefit.

· Assistance with developing relations and cooperation with industry and other institutes in each country.

· Developing joint dual degree programs at multiple levels. The details to be considered by both parties,

with possible separate development and agreement, according to appropriate college and department requirements.
